Elle is a full-time student at University of San Francisco and is doing two internships. One of her internships is actually with the school¡¯s TV station and she¡¯s working there as a news producer, producing news stories that she thinks are relevant to students. The second internship is involved with a nonprofit organization called Global Exchange, which brings awareness to human rights issues around the world. She is helping them with media contents, creating videos that promote their campaigns. Elle is especially interested in the immigrant approach of the U.S. government. One of her parents is actually an immigrant from Mexico, and she came from a town where the majority of the population was Asian. Hence she has a lot of friends who have similar issues with her and began to think of how to mend the problem. She believes that the U.S. really needs to change the overall outlook about immigrants and accept them as a part of the community.
