Lucas is majoring in Economics at Brown University. As a young boy, his family moved around different countries in Africa and Asia. His most recent home was in Mozambique, Africa. He chose Brown University because he wanted academic freedom; to take classes and learn what he wanted. He is now living on campus in a dormitory. Lucas is engaged in a program called ¡®BRYTE'. It is a program in which he tutors refugee kids from the local community. He is teaching two students and keeps a good relationship with both of them. Among his classes his favorite is ¡®Global Security After the Cold War¡¯. The class is about the security situation in the world today and he is very interested to learn about modern world conflicts and possible solutions to them.
