Michelle is a junior at Johns Hopkins University, and her major is Molecular and Cell Biology. She originally came from Venezuela. Her family moved to the United States when she was in middle school. She was born in Valencia, which is famous for La Monumental, a bullfight ring. Michelle had a hard time adjusting to a whole new environment when she first came to the U.S. Everything was very different: the language, the people and the atmosphere, but socializing with people helped her grasp English quickly. Now she doesn¡¯t have any difficulty with her classes and intern work at one of her professors¡¯ lab.
