Terry has recently retired from his job for the past 32 years. He was a watch manager in London Fire Brigade, and he recalls that he had been to more than thousands of fire scenes while working there. Now that he retired, he is planning to spent more time with his family and enjoy doing what he likes, such as watching football and cricket games. Terry still vividly remembers one of the first fires that he encountered as he was new to the job. It was a fire happened in a drinking club of West End in London when he was only 19 years old. A lot of people had died there, and his job was to find the dead bodies and put labels on them. The experience was such a shock to young Terry, but he believes that his positive personality had really helped him regard the job as rewarding rather than stressful.
