Sister K is an African-American woman living in Harlem. She is very proud of where she lives because it harbors the history of her people, African-Americans, and has the ¡°scent of blackness¡± (is the expression she used) everywhere; all over buildings and streets. She is an entertainment manager, specifically focused on reggae music. She says that her connection to reggae is based on her Rastafarian faith and that reggae music brings all African-American people together in Harlem.
